| News | At the committee meeting last night the decision was made to reverse the results of both of the Whiteway Cup semi finals due to rule infringements. Teams are reminded that players may not sign on and play in the cup on the same night. Teams are also reminded that a landlord may play for one team only in any one cup and once played are "cup tied" and may only play for that same team in that same competition for the remainder of the season. On Monday February 26th the Pairs will take place at the Kings. Sign in by 8pm for an 8.15 start. £4 per pair. Played to a winner on the night. On monday 11th March the Bob Keen cup semi finals will be as follows Lucombe Oak A v Heart of Oak A to be played at Horse & Groom Horse & Groom B v Heart of Oak B to be played at the Lucombe Oak On Monday 25th March the Divisional Finals will take place, as follows Premier Cup Final Lucombe Oak A v Horse & Groom B at the Stand Off Whiteway Cup Final Devon Yeoman v Stand Off at the Royal Oak Okehampton St Monday 19th February is Charity night - more details to follow soon |

| Dave Layfield | It is with huge sadness that we have learned today of the passing of Dave Layfield, landlord of the Horse & Groom and previously of the Stowey Arms and Barley Mow. Dave was a great friend to the darts league and was, until this season, a committee member and treasurer. | Bob Keen | It is with huge sadness that we have learned of the passing of our Chairman Bob Keen this morning. Bob was a committed member of our league for many years as Landlord of the Green Gables, player, committee member, vice Chairman and more recently Chairman. A hugely respected man who was gentle and quiet but very astute and always met you with a smile and a cheery greeting. Bob, thank you for everything you have done for the league over the years and thank you for being someone who knew how to run a pub properly. Bob's funeral will be at Exeter Crematorium on Friday October 21st at 9.30 am |
